We're committed to creating an unforgettable and rewarding experience at the Windy City Open.

Just over a year ago, we sought your feedback to understand what you value most in ballroom competitions and how the Chicago Windy City Open could enhance your experience.

Thanks to your input, we're excited to introduce significant updates for the upcoming Windy City Open:

• Understanding the importance of fair evaluation, we've increased our judging panel to 13 for multi-dance events and scholarships, ensuring judges have specific expertise in the competitions they evaluate.

• Single dances will be assessed by at least 7 judges.

• Judging panels will be thoughtfully composed to represent both independent and franchise sectors.

• To ensure fairness and impartiality in our competition, we are prioritizing an environment free from sponsorship influences.

• We're extending personal invitations to professional and pro-am dancers, promoting a diverse and competitive field.

• We are committed to providing a larger dance floor than last year, enabling you to fully showcase your craft.

• The competition schedule is thoughtfully designed, allocating the proper amount of time for each dance style.

• Additional resources are being allocated to streamline logistics and enhance customer service throughout the event.

• Recognizing the importance of food quality, we're committed to ensuring that the food options offered by hotel and during events meet high standards.

• Coffee and some snacks will be readily available in the ballrooms to keep energy levels high.

• Our team will be on hand to welcome you and provide assistance during the competition.

• We will strive to provide a warm and welcoming atmosphere. 

• Finally, to maintain our commitment to excellence, we'll conduct an anonymous survey post-event for continuous improvement.
